In film perforation processing, it is important to stably support the film during processing with a needle roll. At Kyoshin Giken, we accommodate the production of mixed hair brushes that combine horsehair and wire for perforating machines. Horsehair is flexible and can gently support the film. However, since horsehair alone does not provide sufficient stiffness, we enhance the supporting power by mixing in wire. Additionally, while horsehair and wire mixtures have been commonly used in conventional perforating machines, recent changes in processing conditions have led to higher temperatures of the needle rolls, resulting in more cases where horsehair cannot withstand the heat. As a result, there has been an increase in equipment that employs heat-resistant hair materials such as PFA (Teflon-based fluororesin) and PPS. At Kyoshin Giken, we support not only the heat-resistant hair material specifications that have been increasing in recent years but also the horsehair and wire mixed hair brushes used in conventional equipment.
